I think the key to appreciating the Knives Out movies is accepting that they take place in a setting where “world’s greatest detective” is something a person can be rock-star-level famous for. Everything proceeds from that. “Oh, but it’s not plausible that the Louvre would let Elon Musk rent the Mona Lisa” like, maybe not in our world, but that doesn’t matter.
